Perimenopause Support

We are a new generation of women. And we aren’t settling for poor health in this season of life.

Ready to stop synthetic hormones and see what your cycles are “really” like?

Confused by the endless supplement recommendations for perimenopause and beyond?

Unsure if you should let this season happen naturally, or support it with hormones?

Already charting your cycle, but you want hormonal support from a healthcare professional who knows NFP?

Are you…

Let’s talk about it all together. Unique from other healthcare professionals, I view the key to perimenopause as tracking your cycle as it changes. We’ll do this with a urinary homone monitor called Mira. We can see changes in hormone levels in real time and discuss approaches to support your hormones, and symptoms, during this transition.

We’ll discuss the need to make healthy lifestyle choices and consider certain supplements. But there are so many options! I have access to the best natural medicine databases to share what’s actually worth it.

While there is much discussion about use of bioidentical hormones in postmenopause (over 1 year from your last period), the perimenopause time is more confusing. We’ll look at the facts together, coupled with your unique cycle chart, to help you make informed decisions.

Our Process

Upon booking, we send you a detailed Health History Form. Tell us everything. Emily will analyze this form, along with any labs you can provide, prior to meeting with you.

If you do not already track your cycle, Emily will provide education and resources to start tracking using the Mira monitor. This will help us make sense of your symptoms.

After meeting and if appropriate, Emily will send a letter to your physician with specific prescription recommendations that support your cycle during this transition. The provider can then issue your prescriptions knowing that they’re based on a thorough workup and analysis.

Easy for you, easy for your provider.

Perimenopause NFP Expertise

Many women who practice NFP do not want to suppress ovulation.

If women are experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, we can use bioidentical hormones, but in a cyclic way to maintain ovulatory cycles. This differs from the standard approach of many providers.

Let me bridge the gap with your provider to ensure you can use hormones in a way that aligns with NFP.
